Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of The Lord our God!
Living as a Christian is all about learning to trust in The Lord. When we trust we have a firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. Over and over we are admonished to trust in The Lord with all our heart and lean not on our understanding. Our own understanding does not comprehend the strength, power and ability of our Savior. You see His ways are not our ways. He will and can do super abundantly above and beyond all we dare think or even ask.
While living in a world with western thinking that says, "to see it is to believe it", trusting in The Lord may seem foolish. However, there are circumstances and trials in our lives that require us to rely or depend upon The Lord. I have seen family and friends seriously ill and of course they go to the doctor. But ultimately, the medical system cannot heal them. When it comes down to it, the only hope is to trust that God is who He says He is and then rely on Him to do what only He can do. Our trust has to be in a loving, caring God not on our world system.
Prayer: “Father, I thank you that I can depend upon you with all the circumstances of my live. I ask you to forgive me when I have depended on someone or something other than you”.
